I was painting this when a photographer came up to me and asked me if there was some sort of painting convention going on that day as he had seen others working near Trafalgar Square. I said maybe but it’s just little on me on the bridge today. Five minutes past and six painters arrived including Andrew Hird, a fellow artist I met in Venice and Pete Brown who was conducting the small painting trip. London seemed a small place that day.
