The Rose Garden Hampstead  (12″ x 10″ unframed size)

There are few better places in North London to escape the hustle and bustle, than the Rose Garden in North London. The small painting is done  during a late summer just as the leaves were beginning to turn.

With its wonderful walkways and soft red brickwork it is a subject waiting to be painted.

This is a small picture (12″ x 10″), but since it was completed I have created a larger version in the  studio (24″ x 20 “).
