This painting from Albert Bridge is 12″ x 14″

I love the way that the tie posts over this view of Cadogan pier offer the perfect opportunity for enhancing linear perspective and it  helped create a sense of space in this picture.

I always thought central London had something of anonymous feel to it but standing  stand and paint regularly from one spot and you soon find yourself seeing and chatting to the same people every day. 

I liked this view from the moment I started painting it but towards the end of the session a sparkle spanned the entire width of the Thames and it really added to the impression of light.
