It is difficult to express into words how difficult it was to access this viewpoint.

Officially fenced off, this barrier is nothing compared to the struggle through the overgrowth 

necessary to reach the lakeside view. Wildlife was abundant and sounded almost tropical.

I was badly bitten on both both hands by what looked like mosquitoes and one hand became inflamed for several days after.

It was a beautiful spot and however and the pleasure of painting it well worth the struggle.
