I painted this picture in site during the first weeks of November. Despite being a relatively dull day the Autumn colours made it rich in colour. The painting was purchased by the mother of the man sitting on the left of the picture, to be presented on Christmas Day

Hot Summer’s Day at Hampstead Pond This 12″x10″ painting was executed on a perfect summer’s day, (one of the very few we had in 2015)! It was one of several I did during the course of the day and this one seemed to have a sparkle about it that I wanted to capture.
