View from Alexander PalaceThis view is a 15 minute walk from where I live and it is one that I will never tire of painting. Every time I visit, it looks totally different and I plan to paint it in a range of lights and weather conditions.

This painting was a commission for the owner of the house as a surprise Xmas present for her husband. The day started off dull but brightened up immediately as soon as the paint was applied. It made all the difference and gave the picture a much needed sparkle of light.
