Hillside View Santorini 10 x 12
This is one of two paintings that I did of this view at different times of the day (early morning and afternoon) It is typical hillside view in Oia village
Windmills in Oia Santorini 10 x 12
I stood on a people packed promontory to paint this picture and it is pretty much considered one of the best views to be had in Oia, so much so that there is a queue to view it at sunset. The detail is complex and when mapping it out it is easy to keep losing…
Church with Pink Belltower Oia Santorini 10 x 14
I painted this picture of the beautiful, pink belltower Church in Santorini during a recent visit. I had to get up early to avoid the crowds and the at this time of the morning there was a nice almost soft focus atmosphere in the air which hopefully comes across in the painting
The Old School Home. Hampstead 10 x 14
I painted this on a very hot summer afternoon in June. I was half expecting to see children and staff around but it seems to have been converted into flats. I loved the colour of the brickwork and tower roof against the intense blue.
May morning, 57 Coleridge Road N8 12 x 16
This property caught my eye on a crisp May morning. Starting around 8am it was sparkling by 9am.
13 Donovan Avenue. Muswell Hill
This painting was a commission for the owner of the house as a surprise Xmas present for her husband. The day started off dull but brightened up immediately as soon as the paint was applied. It made all the difference and gave the picture a much needed sparkle of light.
33 Methuen Park. Muswell Hill
I painted this picture in mid December over two sessions and just as the light was turning to dusk. I loved the pinky grey colour of the sky and the reflections on the side conservatory.
27 Dukes Avenue Muswell Hill
I painted this picture on a dull November day and was attracted to the turret, faceted bay windows and the dramatic perspective on the left hand side. The painting was noticed online by a previous owner who purchased it within a few days of my completing the work
