This painting of Highbury is 12″ x 10″ and was executed towards the end of October
I did this painting over two sessions. Both of them were really quite cold and I made the mistake of working too close to a secondary school at the end of the day. Most of the kids were reasonably behaved but I had one empty Coke tin thrown towards me, (a near miss luckily), and one of the boys even brazenly asked for £1. When I said to him that if he bought the painting from me for £149 instead of £150 he would gain the pound that he was asking for. He was thrown a bit by this seemingly friendly proposition and simply walked off confused.
